“The funniest women on TV…3 Non-Blondes are taking the world by storm” Now Magazine.
“The hysterically funny sketch show 3 Non-Blondes was an absolute triumph - so much so, BBC2 has asked for it to be transferred there” – Guardian Unlimited.
“The real up and coming stars to emerge from BBC3 are the 3 Non Blondes” – The Stage

Ninia Benjamin is one of the BBC’s hottest new comedians, starring in the BBC3 flagship show (which transferred to BBC2 and BBC America) 3 Non-Blondes, which due to it’s phenomenal success went to a second series, currently showing on both BBC channels. As part of the 3 Non-Blondes she can be seen in Lenny Henry’s forthcoming BBC1 prime-time show Len On The One– to be broadcast this April. Ninia will soon be seen as the presenter of a new BBC3 show, Gory Greek Gods, filmed on location in Greece. Ninia brings the mythological stories to real life with her unique, down to earth presenting style.

Ninia has had numerous TV appearances from presenting a MOBO Award in 2003 to guest spots such as Liquid News (BBC3), ‘RISE’ (C4) and Pure Soap (BBC3), Celebdaq (BBC3), All I Want For Christmas and The 100 Greatest TV Treats of 2003 (C4).

“‘Three Non-Blondes is an absolute coup for BBC3. It pisses all over Smack The Pony so cleanly and comprehensively that it’s impossible to believe they’re female.”
Zoe Williams, The Guardian.

Described by the Voice Newspaper as the Comedy Assassin, Ninia is certainly not shy in her approach to comedy. Although she doesn’t carry a gun, Ninia’s wit and cheeky persona is sure to kill any daring heckler’s attempts stone dead. Armed with a big smile, Ninia’s warmth on stage, and off, lets her get away with absolute murder.

“Bursting onto the stage in an explosion of energy, bombastic Benjamin certainly makes an attention-grabbing entrance” – Chortle

Ninia’s natural confidence and bonhomie ensures she’s already a popular rising stand-up comedian and it won’t be long before she establishes herself as a future star even more. She is already performing at all the major clubs in and around London including Jongleurs, Up The Creek, Banana Cabaret and the Comedy Café. Ninia’s experience also ranges from being the warm-up act for BBC2’s Blouse & Skirt to performances in the Hackney Empire both as a celebrity guest for “Battle of the Sexes” and in the well-known New Act of the Year competition.

“Scorching material. Gold.” – City News

Ninia’s talents don’t stop at stand-up. She has significant experience as an actress and has starred in a wide variety of plays such as a stage production of Malcolm X and A Yorkshire Tragedy (The Royal Court Theatre). Ninia has played the lead role in the record-breaking run of Waiting to Inhale at the Theatre Royal and Woman on Top at the Hackney Empire. Ninia has also appeared in Michael Barrymore’s My Kind of People, The Day That Changed My Life and BBC2’s Black Briton.
